25 years of stomping it out on sweaty dance floors huddled around giant speaker stacks, long nights with dark purple skies that turned into pink sunrises, friendships that have lasted a lifetime, incredible moments that became indelible memories, and the cathartic experience of sharing the love of techno, and house music together.

It’s kind of surreal.

From a lot of bad decisions, to a few good ideas we’ve learned a lot along the way. We’re just so incredibly grateful to still be here standing, and fortunate enough to have the opportunity to enjoy having this little thing of ours after all these years.

The truth is we can’t tell you a grand story about how we created the Minneapolis techno scene, cuz we didn’t. We just came along at the right time to be inspired by the right people, and we were fortunate enough to be able to contribute to a rich landscape of amazing events that have taken place over the last 25 years. There were many who came before us, and we can only hope that there are many more who come long after we are gone.

Of course this is a celebration of years of hard work, dedication to Minneapolis, this music, our appreciation for the people who made it happen, and the people on the dance floor who made it all worth it, but we don’t want to dwell too much on the past. More than anything, our intention is to celebrate this moment right here, the work that is yet to come, and wonderful folks who make up our scene right now…

The line up we have put together for this night is unapologetically techno, and consists of 3 of the most prolific up and coming stateside underground techno superstars, a late model Detroit/NYC head that we have all grown to love, and of course your hosts.

On April 29th 2023 Intellephunk hope to honor the long standing Minneapolis tradition of wasting away the wee hours of morning dancing in front of piles of subwoofers with all of our friends, and family. We hope you can join us.
